Avid Growing Systems is pleased to announce our new partnership with Angela Ardolino, former publisher of Tampa Bay Parenting Magazine.
CEO Patrick Gagné welcomes Angela’s passion and commitment to making medical marijuana more accessible to patients in Florida. Recently Angela grew frustrated seeing countless families facing major health problems, for which no traditional medical treatment or pharmacological remedy was proving effective, affordable, and safe—all while knowing that cannabis products provided relief and oftentimes recovery, but were not yet legal in Florida.
With a constitutional amendment providing for medical marijuana on Florida’s 2016 ballot, Ardolino sold her ownership of the parenting publication to partner with Avid Growing Systems in launching CannaCure in the US, a company dedicated to cultivating and processing the purest medical cannabis products, with the lowest environmental impact.
The entire AVID team stands with Angela in bringing pharmaceutical-grade cannabis to Florida.

LOS ANGELES, October 5, 2016 – Setting the standard for commercial cannabis cultivation, AVID’s latest project takes our team to an indoor cultivation facility in Los Angeles. After the initial installation of our micro-environment growing chambers and the nutrient center that feeds them, the progress of cuttings is surpassing expectations. After 10 days, these well-fed roots are well on their way to a first harvest. Healthy and robust, the plants will produce consistent medicinal compounds that are the envy of the medical marijuana industry.
From cuttings to harvest and back again, AVID Growing Systems is providing true solutions in the production of pharmaceutical-grade cannabis.

The Avid Growing crew continues to volunteer annually at the 30th international Friendship Festival, celebrating good relations between Canada and the United States of America. The usual suspects gathers at the four day event, July 21-24, to work behind the bar and the beer tent never looked better!
Following a system and site pre-assessment last month, Avid staff is eager to ship the micro-environment units to their final destination for assembly. Equipped with automated nutrient and environment controls, the grow site will soon be on its way to providing the cleanest commercial cannabis production available anywhere. A cheer of congratulation is heard during a “post shipment” BBQ at the Avid headquarters in Niagara Falls, Canada.

Everyone knows that 4/20 is the unofficial holiday for marijuana enthusiasts, activists and growers around the world. Not everyone agrees on the meaning of 4/20 or where it originated, but we can all agree that this year 4/20 is extra special.
Our industry and the legitimacy of Medical Marijuana is growing exponentially and more and more states are moving toward medical or full-scale, recreational legalization. As this growth continues, more and more networks and news outlets are covering the growing and innovative Cannabis Industry.
Today, in celebration of 4/20, The Discovery Channel released a new episode of Innovations with Ed Begley, Jr. featuring Avid Growing’s groundbreaking, proprietary marijuana growing system.
We were thrilled to be a part of the broadcast – because it honors 4/20, because it recognizes Avid Growing’s automated system as the true, breakthrough innovation it is and because we value being a part of the new face of marijuana cultivation in the 21st century.

LOS ANGELES, April 4, 2016 — When Visionaire, one of Southern California’s elite cannabis cultivators, was looking for a commercial cultivation model that would not only meet but exceed the stringent regulations regarding compliance and product testing, they turned to Avid Growing Systems. Developed in accordance
with exacting Canadian requirements, Avid’s turnkey solution met their criteria—and then some.
To create a competitive advantage over existing business models, Avid Growing Systems capitalizes on the third dimension: stacking their modular grow chambers 2 to 3 units high. “Given the high price of leased space in this industry, the ability to stack the units was a big factor in our decision-making process,” says Visionaire’s
President Young Kim, “We are happy to be moving forward in the next few months with Avid.”
Combining the skills of experienced growers and a dedicated engineering team of HVAC, irrigation, and computer specialists, Avid has created a fully automated and controlled growing solution. Their patented modular design requires only an up-to-code building, and access to water and power.
Continuing their expansion into the Southern California market, Avid has received an overwhelming response from area growers primarily due to their systematic reduction of operational costs, strict forward-looking compliance standards, laboratory-like cleanliness, and the ability to generate more product with the same
footprint. The vocal interest from pre-ICO dispensaries looking for a proven model of operational efficiency has led the company to focus its strategic expansion efforts on the Los Angeles market.
With 24/7 live support, sophisticated sensor and data analysis technology, and a projected 6 harvests per year, Avid Growing Systems is positioning itself as the business model of choice for companies looking to gain a marked advantage over more traditional producers.
